No Anarchist Bookfair for Me
I was really excited for this one, especially since, by travelling with the Student Insurgent, it would basically be an all expenses paid trip to San Fran. But the UO Student Senate rejected our request for funding for the trip. So, unless something crazy happens, no bookfair for me. I went last year with my family and Natty, which was awesome, but I feel like I have a greater sense of the sort of books I want to look for this time. Letdown. I guess my quest for Camatte will just continue indefinitely.

Well, you could just borrow the book from me. Or if you must have it for yourself you can order it online and pay the fucking shipping cost.
Anyhow, that's really bad that you won't be able to go. If y'all were really serious about going you could pay for it yourselves, combined the cost wouldn't be too onerous, but I doubt people are that committed, plus paying for stuff is bad.
Does it really make that much sense for the Insurgent to go to an anarchist bookfair, I mean it's not really an anarchist paper, nor are most people on it anarchists (right?), I don't understand too much why people with it would be so eager to go to an anarchist event.

Yeah, I'll just probably borrow that autonomedia book from you. But I also want to get the Black and Red book by him (though I've read most of it online, I guess.)
And it does make sense for the Insurgent to go because we all are radical. I know, most of the stuff the other collective members say is actually liberal, but they try to be radical and are open to anarchist ideas. Plus, the four actual students who would be going are all explicitly anarchist (Natty and I included). Now we won't go because I don't think any of us will be willing to pay our own way. Certainly not me (hehe).

Ah. The Black and Red thing is just "The Wandering of Humanity" and that other short essay which has a name I cannot remember. That's it, I've read it, there's no reason to get it if you've read the autonomedia one.
